My apologies for the art this week. The local art stores have stopped stocking my favorite brand of marker, so I've decided to make the leap to more traditional inking tools. However, my brushwork leaves a lot to be desired, so the strip may look relatively crude until I get the hang of things.

Well, that's it - our first week in ink. Looking back, I see some glaring deficiencies jumping out at me from the page, but also some hopeful signs. If you're curious about the process involved, check out the message board, where we're currently debating the pros and cons.

And, while I'm at it, I'd like to give a little shout-out to the special people — the fine folks who make a dull and dreary world worth living in. (The links all go to MP3s, so you've been warned.)
