So on Astralagos and I are at the Borders in Monroeville, looking at the DVDs. I turn to him and say, "I'm torn - I'm not sure what to get, the new Criterion release of Jacques Tati's Mon Oncle or the WWF's Mick Foley's Greatest Hits."

Without missing a beat, Astralagos replies, "You're the only person in the world who'd agonize over that chocie."

Okay, I've been a very bad cartoonist about updating recently. Gotta fix that. Here are two strips to tide you over until Thursday evening.

Today is also the start of the Pirates' spring training schedule (well, yesterday, actually, if you count their game against Manatee Community College). As much as I always look forward to the baseball season, even I have to admit the Pirates are generating no buzz at all as they go into spring training. I hope that means this year will be a pleasant surprise - like 1997 - and not a dismal flop like recent years.

This will be the start of the first major story arc. What's going to happen? You'll just have to read on and find out. I hope you enjoy it.

In other news, I have dug up some buttons for sale (for anyone who's interested), and I'm exploring my t-shirt options. Besides that, it's been a pretty dull week here at the White house - lots of sleeping, and not much else.

Music: Ted Nugent, "Wango Tango"
