Hey. I'm back. Didn't catch a lot of fish or anything, but I did get a chance to kick back and unwind. Hope you enjoyed last week's strips... This week is more of the same. More to report tomorrow.

Book: Robert Hughes, "Goya" (page 315)

Why no strip on Thursday? Because I fell asleep on the couch while watching the Pirates game, that's why. So here's the strip I'd originally intended for Thursday. I'll be running another strip on Saturday so you can get your five strips for this week.

Speaking of the Pirates, I saw a humdinger of a game on Tuesday. Lots of good back-and-forth action and a tense, exciting game-winning play. All that, and I got to boo Barry Bonds, too. What more can a man ask for? Except maybe $1 hot dogs.
