Hey. I figured I should probably let you guys know what the situation is with Graphic Smash. To make a long story short, I've decided not to renew my contract, but I will be staying with them for a few extra weeks.
The current plan is to stick with GS through the end of the current storyline, which will end on 9/24. After that, I'm going to take a week off, just to recharge my creative batteries a bit. Then the Beetle will return on October 1st with a new look and the archives back in the public domain.
I've enjoyed my time with Graphic Smash, but deep down inside I can't shake the feeling that I'm just a loner who doesn't play well with others. Like Spider-Man, I know I really don't belong with the Avengers but that doesn't stop me from trying every now and then. Or being shoehorned into the group by Bendis.
Actually, I'm probably more like the Slick, but that's a story for another day...
